Putting the pieces together to play paintball is easy and straightforward here at APC in Phoenix. Each player needs a field pass that allows for usage of the playing space. Field passes are good ALL DAY allowing you to play as long as you have ammo to fire. Don’t worry, we can restock you when you run out in our pro shop.
Our rental equipment includes the paintball gun, full face shield and the air that powers the paintball gun. If you have your own equipment, you may not need this and are more than welcome to bring it.
The last choice is to pick how many paintballs you want to play with. Paintballs determine the amount of time that a group is at our facility. We recommend getting a bag of 500 paintballs per player as a standard experience at our fields for recreational players.
500 Paintballs/player = Estimated 2 hours for regular players
There are no player minimums for standard paintball activities. Birthday party packages require 6 or more players.
Paintball Frequently Asked Questions
If you and your group need rentals, we like to be prepared by having reservations placed at least 24 hours in advance.
We do allow for same day play with unreserved rental equipment on a first-come first-serve basis. If you are interested in playing same day please call us at (719) 597-4796. We would love to make your paintball experience happen with us.
The answer is probably YES! If you do not have a reservation you can still come out to play that same day if our rental equipment is not already reserved and we have left over gear. However this is not guaranteed so we suggest making a reservation for the best possible customer service.

If you have your own paintball gear, you are welcome to play with it. We DO NOT allow for outside paintball markers to be used at our fields. Our staff are happy to help you make sure that your paintball gun shoots under 255 feet per second to use it on our indoor fields.
The quick answer is no. It is not required to have a certain number of people to come out to play either for a birthday party or any other type of event for that matter. However, if you choose to pick our birthday party package that bundles eat & play options, then a minimum of 6 players is required.

OUR "DRILLS FOR KILLS" PAINTBALL PROGRAM
Improve as a player all year long at American Paintball Coliseum with our drills-for-kills player program! Join us weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays to improve your game with a bag of paintballs costing only $10 bucks. Players can purchase up to 2 bags of paintballs for practice and workout.
